112 Stone Dishes Zine

Exhibited as part of 112 Stone Dishes (2026), which began as an act of scavenging. The zine documents the process, from gathering stones from local landscaping suppliers in Tāmaki Makaurau to returning them to the workshop to be shaped into individually crafted dishes.
 
The intention was to produce a large number of dishes within a short time frame, using hand tools that required a level of physical endurance. This body of work reflects the character of a remote and resourceful culture in Aotearoa, with each stone carrying a strong connection to place.
